Divine Healing in Gippsland

Meet first generation Australian Jess Johnson has discovered her passion for healing and empowering women through natural therapies. With a move to small community in South Gippsland after her husband landed his dream job, Jess has started building a big vision for her future business in her new location. Celebrating womanhood with other like-minded individuals fuels her love of connection to the heart and soul.

Jess was born in Australia to Dutch parents. She has lived in the Latrobe Valley all of her life and with new adventures on the horizon is moving to South Gippsland later this year.

She has a passion for women and girls to help them embrace all that they are. “I love inspiring women to see their inner beauty and allow their inner lights to shine.” As a practicing remedial massage therapist and reiki professional she calls herself a ‘heart-based healer’. She sees clients in her current Newborough clinic space as well as offering online sessions in her business ‘Divine Healing with Jess’.

Deep in the throes of planning with a business development coach to expand her services in her new location as well as being in a wind-down mode at her current space in the Latrobe Valley. Jess is busily preparing for growth while navigating her family’s relocation to their new home near Wilsons Prom.

Her husband recently landed his dream job, to skipper the Pennicot Wilderness Journeys out of Tidal River at the Prom. The Sea Change is forefront on their mind as they prepare their family of four for the big move.

She’s a passionate Gippslandian. “There is nothing better than being beside a river with a fire going and taking in the beauty of nature.” Says Jess. There are so many wonderful places to explore, from the sea to the snow. I especially love drives through the bushland around Erica.”

In 2016 Jess began training in Aromatic Kineseology. “Meeting Robbi Zeck, the founder and creator of the therapy changed my life.” Explains Jess. “Robbi saw in my heart what nobody else ever has. I love and accept myself. I trust and believe that I am worthy and I am immensely grateful for the love and support I received during our time together.” Says a glowing Jess.

Offering one-on-one healings and Womens Circles she is planning to expand to Girls Circles for 7-16 and working on hosting an annual retreat.

Womens Circles have been a large part of my own healing journey. As women, we shine on our connection with like-minded souls. We desire other women around us who are able to understand, empathise and relate to where we are at on our path. When we are being held and supported, we heal a little deeper and rise a little higher. This is where Sisterhood comes in.” Explains Jess.

“The move is exciting. I’m looking forward to immersing myself in the local community, supporting the local school where my two daughters will attend. I’m eager to connect with like-minded people in the area too.” Says Jess.

With a busy life as mum and wife as well as her business, by the end of the week she loves winding down with Friday night home-made pizza. Family and close friends sharing red wine and making memories.

“Nourishing people with delicious food and fabulous conversation with a few laughs thrown on for fun give me so much enjoyment.” Laughs Jess.

“While the last few years have been filled with enlightenment, I am still travelling down the road of finding me. To be honest I don’t think we ever ‘end-up’ anywhere because we continue to grow, learn, unravel, heal and discover. Life is a continuous journey of self-discovery and unpacking. It only ends when we die.” Shares Jess insightfully. “I can be very future orientated and that can be a downfall at times as I am not able to just enjoy the here and now, bring fully present. But I’m working on being more present in each moment”

An avid reader Jess currently has two books on the go. Wild Power - Discover the Magic of your menstrual cycle and awaken the feminine path to power by Alexandra Pope and Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer. Earth is Hiring by Peta Kelly

Essential oils are a daily part of her living and healing practice. “I never leave home without my oils.” Says Jess.
