Baw Baw Food Relief has been filling bellies in the Baw Baw Shire for over 15 years. The centre runs on 100% volunteer staff. A team of more than 60 community volunteers busily work Monday to Saturday to ensure the shelves, fridges and freezers remain full for those who access this valuable service.

Meet Kirsten Finger who has been very busy in the time since she has made Gippsland her home. Knowing how valuable support networks are for a new parent she has been pivotal in supporting hundreds of families each year since establishing Olivia's Place in Warragul.

Mirboo North has a long history of fundraising and looking after its district, beginning in the 1930’s when they funded their own Bush Nursing Hospital, which was membership based.
