With a growing audience I want to welcome writers of Gippsland to contribute to this page.
I sat on the side of Blue Rock Lake earlier this year with a vision for a space to showcase the interesting individuals I have met since landing in Gippsland 10 years ago. Launching the website in June and sharing the stories via the social networking platforms has generated great traffic and I am still receiving submissions every other day.
I will continue to publish weekly features of Gippslandian's however I would like to be able to share additional content to continue to celebrate this region and the people in and from it.
Depending on submissions I would love to add a regular article from other Gippsland writers. The idea will continue to evolve so I have only a few guidelines so far.
Subject: Gippsland (a person, town, property, landmark, historical, tourist recommendation, local story, review… surprise me)
Submissions from 300 – 1000 words
All credit given to the source with links to any websites, businesses or projects you are connected to
A quality photo to accompany your article is preferred but not essential.
I am not generating any income from this space it is a labour of love, so I cannot offer to pay for submissions (yet)
